ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta Botanical Garden is holding a series of events called Storybook Time. This is a recurring event that began in March and will end on October 27, 2021. The event is held on Wednesdays at 10 and 10:45 a.m., including next Wednesday, July 7, 2021.

This program aims at children aged 1 to 4 years old, to provide them a joyful experience by reading different nature-inspired stories. Taking place at the Great Lawn in Atlanta Botanical Garden, 1345 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, all participating children should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Since it is an outdoor event under the shade of elm trees, participants are required to bring a picnic blanket or ground cover. The event will also be canceled in case of rain, cold temperature or inclement weather. Participants can inquire about the weather via email at

Due to the pandemic, this year's Storybook Time will only have limited slots and apply a social distancing protocol with twelve-foot distance between groups of participants. Prospective participants can see the Garden's safety protocols at

There will be no registration needed and this program will be included in the Garden admission.
