A transient male accused of breaking into a business in Lake Elsinore has been arrested according to a media release provided by the Riverside County Sheriff, Lake Elsinore unit.
According to the reporting deputy Sergeant Adrian Brazil, on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 2:41 a.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a commercial burglary alarm at the Lake Elsinore Senior Center, located in the 400 block of E. Lakeshore Drive in the city of Lake Elsinore.
Upon arrival, deputies located a broken second story window. The investigation revealed the suspect, identified as Andrew Jimenez, a 46-year-old transient from Lake Elsinore, broke the window to the business, entered the building, vandalized the interior, and fled prior to deputies’ arrival.
Andrew Jimenez was located walking on E. Lakeshore Drive near Main Street. He was arrested on charges of burglary and vandalism.
An inmate locator search using the JIMS information system does not currently show an Andrew Jimenez in custody at any Riverside County jail facility.
No arraignment information or court docket scheduling in this case is noted at this time.
