3 unknown males are being sought in connection with the armed robbery of a Highland man.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s office report an armed robbery occurred in Highland and are seeking the public’s help in identifying and catching the suspects who were seen as they fled the crime scene on surveillance video camera footage.
Incident Details:
According to the release of information provided by the Sheriff’s department, on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at approximately 12:00 p.m., deputies from the Highland Sheriff's Station responded to the 26600 block of 9th Street in Highland, following the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.
When deputies arrived, they determined that three male suspects had approached the victim from behind and pointed a gun at him. The suspects stole the victim's belongings and proceeded to flee on foot.
Video surveillance captured images of the suspects fleeing the scene. The suspects wore distinct clothing, as can be seen in the accompanying photo.
The victim is a 71-year-old male resident of Highland with no reported harm or injuries suffered in the armed robbery incident.
This is an ongoing investigation, and the Highland Police Department is asking the public to provide any information that would help identify the involved suspects.
