Chicken Tikka Masala
Chicken tikka masala is a popular Indian dish consisting of roasted marinated chicken chunks (chicken tikka) in spiced curry sauce.
Kevin's sauce Ingredients
Water, Coconut Milk (Coconut Cream, Water), Tomato Paste, Butter Ghee (Milk), Coconut Nectar, Dehydrated Onion, Cilantro, Coconut Sugar, Tapioca Starch, Yeast Extract, Paprika, Sea Salt, Ginger, Spices, Chilies, Turmeric, Dehydrated Garlic, Lime Juice Concentrate, Citric Acid, Lemon Peel, Black Pepper, Xanthan Gum, Monkfruit Extract.
Kevin’s offers a 16-ounce frozen ready to go meal and they also sell the sauce separately.
I purchased the frozen meal but ended up using my own left-over chicken to go with it.
Impression
I was so impressed with the taste of the sauce, that I ended up buying just the sauce and using my own cumin infused chicken with it.
I sauteed the chicken in the sauce and layered it over Jasmine rice, with a side of veggies.
The richness, fullness, and color of the sauce were appealing, and I didn’t feel like I was giving up any flavor in this gluten-free meal.
The taste of the sauce was similar to what you would find in a restaurant. It was good and I definitely recommend it.
