Kendre Miller helped deliver TCU their final win of the season, after running for two touchdowns in a 62-14 win against Iowa State on Saturday. Fox 4 reports that the TCU Horned Frogs are closer to making the four-team College Football Playoff. Max Duggan continued his strong season, throwing three touchdowns. The Horned Frogs have the Big 12 Championship game next Saturday. They enter that matchup as one of only three undefeated teams remaining.

After a nail-biter against Baylor and sneaking out a win in the final 2 minutes, TCU led 17-0 with scoring drives on its first three possessions against the top defense in Iowa State. Iowa State had given up 16.5 points a game, the most being 31. The TCU Frogs led 24-0 at the end of the first quarter. Fox 4 reports that The Frogs' Millard Bradford snagged an interception for a 36-yeard return for their first defensive touchdown this year. They recorded a second one with a 57-yard pick and score after halftime.

Fox 4 reports that this is the most-lopsided loss for Iowa State since their season finale at TCU in 2014, losing 55-3. TCU entered the game No. 3 but dropped down to sixth in the final CFP rankings the next day. That was one peg below Baylor, the only team to have beaten the TCU Frogs. The last time the Horned Frogs made it this far in the season without a loss was 2010, when they were in Mountain West, finishing 13-0 and winning the Rose Bowl. The Frogs now are headed to the Big 12 Championship game at AT&T Stadium on Saturday.
