Dallas Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith is selling his Addison home for $2.2 million. It's not ironic that it's also the number he wore playing ball, perhaps it's his lucky number.
He has lived in this home for over 2 decades and it seems with the news of his divorce from his wife Pat, he's looking to downsize or upsize in a luxury high rise. The house spans over 10,806 square feet and boast five bedrooms and nine baths. The home needs a bit of updating, but overall, it's not a bad location and house. There's two offices, two living rooms, a media room, a game room, large closet and two master suites.
Emmitt built the home in 1995 and lived in it with his wife Patricia Southall, former wife of Martin Lawrence, and their children Emmitt James Smith IV, Skylar Smith, Elijah Alexander James Smith and Jasmine Page Lawrence.
Smith shared his favorite things about his longtime home in a statement. "One of my favorite aspects of the home is that it's perfect for entertaining," he said, "With a large dining room table that fits 22 people, a media room, and a large game room, this home is ready for the new owners to create their own memories with both friends and loved ones."
The date part of this deal might just be a smart way for Emmitt to hook a young hottie. Who knows.
