Floridians who want fast-fried chicken have plenty of choices. There are Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, Bojangles, PDQ, and Zaxby's, to name just some examples.
However, one chain has been expanding into Florida and will give Floridians more choices. And the chain has received plenty of accolades, including Thrillest saying that it has the "best chicken tenders" in the nation, and Glassdoor naming it one of the best places to work.
Where is Florida Getting New Raising Cane's Locations?: If you didn't guess, the above descriptors were referencing Raising Cane's, which has been adding Florida stores.
In February of 2023, it was announced that 8 new Raising Cane's were coming to Florida. New locations were mentioned for Largo, Boynton Beach, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Royal Beach, Culter Bay, Port St. Lucie, and Pompano Beach.
However, none of the above just celebrated a grand opening. That honor went to Orlando - which has a store on Palm Parkway.
Orlando expects more stores in the coming months, with Lake Nona and Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway locations coming this winter.
What Should Floridians Order At Raising Cane's?: According to Mashed, the best thing that one can order at Rising Cane's is probably not a surprise based on Thrillest's praise mentioned above. Mashed says that the chicken fingers are the menu's best offering.
Don't forget the sauce, which is highly praised. Restaurant Clicks also praises the restaurant's chicken sandwich, calling it "the perfect lunchtime treat."
What Do Floridians Say About the New Store?: The Palm Parkway store that just opened gets 4.3 out of 5 stars on Google Reviews. Honestly, some of the reviews make it clear that the reviewer knew what to expect, as some people mentioned enjoying Raising Cane's in other cities. A few took off stars because the wait time was long during the grand opening.
