Want to try some authentic Jamaican food? Check out Deb's Jamaican Pot in Mount Holly, located in the center of town. When you first walk in the door you are greeted with a warm smile and some reggae music playing. It has an authentic Jamaican ambiance.

They have a varied menu and delicious beef patties. Some of the items on the menu are oxtails, curried goat, and chicken. My friend is a fan of their jerk chicken and said it was excellent. I'm definitely going to try it next time I visit.

Another friend tried their oxtails and said they were tender and delicious.

On my visit, I decided to try one of their beef patties. I absolutely loved it. I've had beef parties before, at other places, but this was my favorite. It was flavorful with delicious spices. It had the perfect amount of flakiness. I would definitely order their beef patties again. They also have chicken and vegetable patties available.

For an entree, I ordered their Chicken Curry with rice and cabbage. They gave me a generous portion. It was tasty, yet on the mild side. Next time I will try it with more spice and have the peas along with the rice.
