What can you do if you're craving some Nashville hot chicken but you're in St. Louis? The good news is you can still get your fix! I found three great places to set your tastebuds ablaze right here in town.

Chuck's Hot Chicken

You've got to try the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich at Chuck's Hot Chicken. It's hand breaded and cooked to perfection. Chuck’s sauce and pickle chips down below with STL cheese on top, served on a toasted bun!

If you visit during the weekend, it is worth trying the chicken and waffles. You get your choice of chicken (strips or breast) a fresh, large Belgian waffle, a side of Chuck's sauce, powdered sugar and a side of syrup. It's worth noting that chicken and waffles is available on Saturday and Sunday only.

Absolutely love chucks hot chicken. Have ordered twice now and their French fries and chicken are the absolute best. I tried level 4 and my goodness it was delicious and packed such delicious heat. If your spicy tolerance is low I'd recommend a 1 or 2. The level 3 is pretty spicy but also so yummy. Highly recommend. Abby B.

With over 31 locations in 14 states, you know that Gus must be doing something right. Don't overlook the St. Louis location in Maplewood. The hot chicken is fantastic and you'll be coming back for more. Gus's also has great sides such as baked beans, potato salad, fries and more. There are also a variety of pies available for dessert including pecan pie, chess pie, sweet potato pie and old fashioned coconut pie.

Honest chicken done right-this is what you get. I'm a fan that their chicken has no hormones and is cooked fresh to order. They have plenty of great sides our favorites are the Mac-n-Cheese, fried okra and potato salad. I've never had a bad experience at Gus's, and appreciate their attention to COVID protocols. Get you some Gus's and you'll be happy. Bob B.

Chicken Out is one location found on Delmar Blvd right in St. Louis. Since you're wanting your Nashville Hot Chicken fix, you'll want to go with the Spicy Chicken Out at Chicken Out. This sandwich includes Nashville Style Fried Chicken, Pickles, Crystal Hot Sauce Mayo, and a Martin’s Potato Bun.

Oh yea!!! Slap your taste buds with some awesome flavorful food!! This place is awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, great music, the nice colors, and the added huge chicken and car as you walk in the door. I am so happy I dropped by. Courtney N.

Chicken Out's website is right here.

There you have it. You don't have to go to Nashville to have some delicious hot chicken. You can do it right here in St. Louis. Have you tried the hot chicken at any of these restaurants? Let me know in the comments.
