Next week marks the beginning of the 11th year of the Atlanta Food and Wine festival. AFWF will gather food and drink enthusiasts together for a variety of activities that will take place at various locations all throughout the city from the 15th to the 18th of September. At this event, more than 30 chefs across the south from Florida to Texas will participate. Here are a few upcoming events that you should keep an eye out for.
Sliced: A Slice of Atlanta's Finest - Thursday, September 15 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.
This event, which covers everything, will include some of Atlanta's all-time favourite sliced dishes. Imagine sweet and savoury slices of everything, from pizza, pie, quiche to sliced brisket, gourmet cheese, lasagna, truffles, and many more. The Woodhall, Nina and Ralfi, Phew Pies, and Grecian Gyros are among the various good restaurants.
Intimate Dinners : Thursday, Sept. 15:
- American Cuisine with a Spanish Lens at The Iberian Pig . Dinner hosted by Chef Josue Pena, along with his longtime friends and guest chefs Liron Eisenberg and Jon Sinecki from the Dream Hotel Nashville.
- Annual Atlanta Food & Wine Festival Dinner. This one-of-a-kind and exclusive supper will be held at the Lazy Betty in Candler Park. Dinner hosted by Chefs Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips, including a unique seven-course meal paired with various drinks.
Cluck’d: A Chicken & Cocktail Soirée – Friday, September 16, from 7 to 10 p.m.
When it comes to chicken, this dish is as Southern as it gets. You may try chicken prepared in a variety of ways, such as battered, barbecued, grilled, sautéed, braised, or fried. In addition, there is a dance floor for your enjoyment, as well as special cocktails. Restaurants include Hattie B's Hot Chicken (located in Tennessee), Best End Brewing Company, and Mercantile Dining and Provisions, both located in Denver, Colorado.
Tasting Tents - Saturday, September 17, and Sunday, September 18, from 1PM-5PM
This massive outdoor celebration is taking place in Old Fourth Ward Park, and it will include endless food, wine, and drinks. Plus, live demonstrations and one-on-one interactions with 60 different chefs.
