We are heading into a very hot weekend! It is a great opportunity to enjoy some fun events in and near Menomonee Falls. Check out these events happening on Saturday, July 24th.
- 2021 Waukesha County Fair
The Fair is going on at the Waukesha County Expo Center through the weekend, so it’s a great time to check it out! With it needing to be cancelled last year, many people missed this fun event.There will be a Kiwanis Pancake breakfast and a demolition derby on Saturday that you won’t want to miss. There are also pig, goat and duck races daily along with a Timberworks Lumberjack show. Go out and see the different animals, eat some great food and ride some rides today.
- German Days 2021 in Glendale at Heidelberg Park at the Bavarian Bierhaus
Head over to Glendale for another great event today. It is German Days at Heidelberg Park at the Bavarian Bierhaus! This is a free event with no cover or gate charge. There are over 300 picnic talbes spread out in various locations. For Saturday, it opens up at 11 a.m. with pig and chicken roasts all day long. There will be live music by Alte Kameraden at 12 p.m., Alpine Blast Trio from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Alpenstern from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Biergarten opens at 11 a.m. along with the pig and chicken roast specials.
- 2nd Annual Taco Fest of Racine at the Franksville Craft Beer Garden
Head to Franksville and the Franksville Craft Beer Garden from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. for their annual Taco Fest of Racine event. There will be some of the area’s favorite Taco Trucks and Taco Restaurants coming to the Beer Garden. The event is free and features live music all day, over 20 craft beers on tap, margaritas, corona, chips and salsa, wine, and white claw. The event is family-friendly. There are multiple playgrounds for kids, including the famouse Kids’ Connection 20,000 sq ft community-built playground. You can also attend Taco Thursday at the Beer Garden all summer long.
- 2021 Washington County Fair
You can also venture just north of Menomonee Falls for the Wahsinton County Fair at the Washington County Fair Park and Conference Center. Just as with the Waukesha County Fair, it is going on through the weekend. There will be multiple entertainment stages, exciting rides and games, animals, family activities, events, contests, vendors and yummy delights to choose from.
- Mr Brews Taphouse 5 Year Anniversary Party in Menomonee Falls
Head to Mr Brews Taphouse right here in Menomonee Falls on Saturday and celebrate their 5 year anniversary! The event begins at 11 a.m. and goes all day long. The event will help raise money for our local Fire and Rescue Department. The patio doors have also finally arrived! From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Menomonee Falls Fire and Rescue will be there with an ambulance and fire truck. There will also be face painting and samples from their featured brewery. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., there will be live music by Ebert and Grass, and then from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., there will be live music by Ian Ash. There will be Marquis low-cal cocktail samples from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and then sampling with the Ole Smoky brand ambassadors from both 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and then 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
