- Pop-Up Beer Garden at Fox Brook Park in Brookfield
Head out to Fox Brook Park in Brookfield today between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. for a fun beer garden event. This event is sponsored by Raised Grain Brewing Company. The weather is going to be perfect for this fun outdoor event. There will be seven different beers on tap, including Guitar City Gold Lager, Pivo Boho Czech Pilsner, Summer Vice Hefeweizen, Naked Threesome IPA, Take ‘er Easy Pale Ale, Boxcar’s English Amber and Mello Rillo Session Hazy IPA. You can also purchase Diamond Hard Seltzer if beer isn’t your thing. You can buy food from Matty’s Food Truck as well. In order to gain entrance into Fox Brook Park, you will need an annual or day pass.
- Pop-up Biergarten at Oak Creek Abendschein Park
Check out this Biergarten event going on Friday night at Oak Creek Abendschein Park through Saturday. It is a 3-day German-style Biergarten that will feature Hofbrauhaus Bier from Munchen. You can also enjoy US craft beer, cider, sausage and pretzels in this beautiful park setting. This event is family and kid-friendly. There is a playground with plenty of parking. There will also be music, authentic steins and drinking boots. Check out the kid’s activities and stein-hoisting contests as well. Admission is free!
- Gin Cocktails and Chocolate by Indulgence Chocolatiers
This virtual event is happening Friday night starting at 8 p.m. It will be hosted by Indulgence Chocolatiers’ owner Julie Waterman. Kits are available for pickup at the Walker’s Point location for $60. The kit has everything you need for the class including alcohol and confections for two people to enjoy three pairings.
- Shakespeare in Three Bridges Park in Milwaukee
Head to Milwaukee and Three Bridges Park for this fun Shakespeare event going on from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is hosted by Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail and Summit Players Theatre. There will be a brand-new production of Shakespeare’s THe Winter’s Tale. Make sure to bring a blanket or chair and a picnic dinner. At 5:30 p.m. there will be a free, 45-minute educational workshop entitled “Inside Shakespeare’s Story: The Winter’s Tale.” This workshop is focused on taking a closer look at the play and learning how he used nature language, poetic writing and relatable themes to craft his story. The show begins at 7 p.m. and is also free. Seating is general admission and first come/first serve.
- Bat Night for Families at Wehr Nature Center in Franklin
This is a fun and educational event going on at Wehr Nature Center in Franklin from 9 p.,m. to 10 p.m. Friday night. It will give information about the fiction, folklore and facts about bats. There will be hands-on activities to help you learn what it is like to be a bat. There will also be a night hike to look for them and other nocturnal creatures. This is a free event.
- June Ballroom Social at Delaware House in Milwaukee
Head out to Delaware House in Milwaukee for a fun night of ballroom dancing. There will be a group dance lesson at 7 p.m. to introduce you to the featured dance style of that night. Open dancing begins at 8 p.m. and includes Swing, Latin, Ballroom, line dances and mixers. It is open to the public and all levels of skill are welcome. You do not need to bring a partner. Couples and singles are both welcome. There will be light refreshments as well. It costs $25 per couple or $15 per person.
