- Family Glow Walk in Germantown
Head just north of Menomonee Falls to Germantown for this fun Family Glow Walk event. This will be taking place from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Kinderberg Park. This will be a fun and informal 3 mile walk in the park. The course is set up in 1 mile loops and you can go at your own pace. There will not be an official start or stop in order to keep things spaced out. The course is open anytime between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Pets should be left at home. There will be no glow items handed out along the walk, but you can order your own glow kits for $5 per person. Each kit includes fun glowing items to wear the night of the walk. You can also pre-order Glow Walk T-Shirts for $10 per shirt. They come in pink, blue, orange and yellow.
- FIT in the Parks: Sunset/Candlelight Hike
Right here in Menomonee Falls, head to Menomonee Park this Friday night. THis will be a self-guided walk around Menomonee County Park to kick off the 2021 Live Well Waukesha County and Menomonee Falls FIT In the Parks program. There will be candles available to light the way after dusk. If you come early, you can enjoy the beauty of the sunset in the park. Admission will be free for all participants. You do need to pre-register in one of the 30 minute time slots: either 7 p.m., 7:30 p.m. or 8 p.m. You will not be able to register when you arrive. Make sure to dress for the weather as the hike will take place whether it is rain or shine. Dogs are welcome, but you need to keep them on a six-foot or shorter leash. Check in at the park entrance and the walk will begin at the beach house. Make sure to park in the beach house lot.
- Spring Gallery Night
Head over to Oconomowoc for a fun evening from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Browse, shop and eat at the downtown Oconomowoc businesses. You will also get to see the featured student art exhibits.
- Blues, Booze and Brushes
Head out to Hales Corners to the Charmbiance Wine Bar and Arts for a fun evening. This event is taking place from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be Acoustic Blues by Joey Halbur, a Paint Class Special and their new cocktail menu to check out. The doors open at 4 p.m. and the music starts at 8 p.m. You can also enjoy some time painting. If you have a group of 4 or more, be sure to reserve your spots ahead of time. There will be a $45 Window Special, a $20 Glass Painting Special, a $30 Pint Board Special and a $40 11x19 Board Special to choose from.
- Charlie Wiggins live at Humdingers Bar and Grill in Merton
Head over to Merton and Humdingers Bar and Grill for a fun evening from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. There will be live acoustic music by Charlie Wiggins starting at 8 p.m. There will be some yummy food too!
- Small Business and Craft Show at Brookfield Square
Head just south of Menomonee Falls to Brookfield Square on Friday. This small business and craft show event is taking place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a variety of local businesses, crafts, and vendor booths.
