- Painting Snow Cap Blooms at Art N Soul Design Studio
Head over to Brookfield this Thursday for a fun art event put on by Art N Soul Design Studio. The event is taking place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. You will be painting beautiful snow cap blooms to add color and beauty to your own walls. You will create interesting alcohol ink backgrounds and then use the mixative snow cap and canned air to create the blooms. You will be creating two 5x7 paintings and then mat them both to 8x10 to get them ready for framing. The workshop costs $50 and all supplies are provided. No previous experience is necessary and those new to painting are encouraged to attend and learn something new. Class size will be limited to 8 participants and face masks are required in the studio.
- MJ and Prince Music event at the Saloon on Calhoun
Brookfield is also the place to be for some 80s music fun. From 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., head on over to the Saloon on Calhoun. There will be music you love done by artists who emulate the talent of Prince and Michael Jackson. It will be as if the two of them showed up together to play their hits on pianos. What a fun concept!
- Early Mother’s Day - Sparkly Night, Step by Step Painting Night
Head over to Milwaukee at the Farmhouse Paint Bar and Banquet Hall. This fun event will be taking place from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The Farmhouse Paint Bar and Banquet Hall. You can join this class either at home or in-person. The class is a beginners level acrylic painting class. You will learn step by step, how to paint with acrylic paint on stretched canvas. There will be insider how to’s and pro tips to make it a fun learning experience. You can purchase a virtual class ticket if you have your own supplies or order our complete package to use the same supplies.
- Cocktails with Creatives at Nicole’s Third Ward Social in Milwaukee
Head over to Nicole’s Third Ward Social from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a fun event. This event costs $15 per person. This Thursday they will be debuting May gallery artists. These artists include Michelle Thomas and Stacie Estrada. Come meet the artists and see their works, while enjoying a variety of refreshments. The ticket price includes an individual charcuterie board and a specialty drink.
- Spring Gnome Painting Workshop at Delavan Lake Store and Lounge
If you like gnomes, head over to Delavan Lake Store and Lounge and join A Glass of Art and More for a fun evening of spring gnome painting. The painting class is taking place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. No experience is necessary for this painting. All supplied are including. If the weather is nice, you can even paint outside! You will get a free drink along with the class, which costs $35 for a 16 x 20 inch stretched canvas or reclaimed wood.
- Spring Plant Sale at Stone Bank Farm Market
If you are looking for some plants for your yard or garden, head over to Stone Bank Farm Market in Oconomowoc between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. You will be able to show over 200 varieties of herbs, heirloom organic vegetables and annual flowers to plant in your own yard.
