On Thursday, May 25, 2023, the major supermarket chain Aldi celebrated the grand opening of its newest Pennsylvania grocery store location in Philadelphia, according to a store opening announcement on the company's website.

The new store is located at 12002 E. Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia near Wawa, Topgolf, and Chick-fil-A.

The popular grocer is known for selling a wide selection of popular grocery items like fresh produce, snacks, and frozen items at competitively low prices. They also carry a selection of household essentials as well.

So far, feedback from local customers has been mostly positive. For example, this is what one local shopper had to say about the new store in Philadelphia in a recent Google review:

They sell a lot for their small size. Not to busy and the prices are cheap. I have to mention the smell is amazing.

So if you happen to be in the Philadelphia area, consider stopping by the new store location the next time you want to stock up on food and other household items without going over your budget.

The new store is open daily from 9 am to 8 pm.
