A popular and rapidly expanding food chain recently opened another new location in South Carolina last week. Read on to learn more.
On Thursday, May 11, 2023, the well-known restaurant chain Chick-fil-A celebrated the grand opening of its newest South Carolina location in Sumter, according to an opening announcement on the company's website.
The new location is at 375 Pinewood Road in Sumter near Walmart, Subway, and Walgreens.
So far, feedback from local patrons has been mixed. For example, this is what one local customer named Donna had to say about the new location in Sumter in a recent Google review:
You may get your order brought to your car and be sitting 3 or 4 cars back before you can move, all the others in front of you have to get their orders and then you move - the drive through is Awful - who ever designed that did a Horrible Job! (Stuck In Place).
However, another local customer named Brandon seemed to have a more positive experience at the new location. Here's what they had to say in another recent review:
Wow ! I jumped out of bed and drove 1.5 miles to this CFA , it’s new and close to my neighborhood. I was not disappointed the original chicken sandwich was delicious, the fries were crispy and the sweet tea was oh so sweet!
So if you happen to be in the Sumter area, consider stopping by the new location on Pinewood Road the next time you're in the mood for a savory chicken sandwich, creamy shake, with a side of waffle fries.
The new location is open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 am to 10 pm and closed on Sundays.
