A beloved local artisan butcher shop in Pennsylvania recently announced that they would be closing their business next month. Read on to learn more.
Smoke and Pickles has been a local favorite in the Mechanicsburg community for some time now. But unfortunately, the artisan butcher shop founded by Chef David T. Mills III, along with his wife Kelli, will be closing at the end of next month.
A recent announcement posted to the shop's Facebook business page explained that the business's last day of operation would be November 23, 2022. However, the shop, which is located at 30 S. Market Street, will be open until then, so you still have time to stop in and enjoy their high-quality meats.
The announcement on Facebook explained that the couple decided to close Smoke & Pickles so that Chef Mills could join his wife Kelli, who moved out of state to pursue a career opportunity. The owners made it clear that the closure of the business was not due to operational issues.

Holy smokes! This is a comfortable space with some phenomenal cuts of meat in the case and burgers that will knock your socks off!
According to the shop's website, they still have a few upcoming events and classes, such as a Date Night Cooking class on October 29th and more.
So, if you are in the Mechanicsburg area, be sure to stop in and experience Smoke and Pickles before they close their doors on November 23rd.
