According to local sources, Trader Joe's has confirmed that it will be opening a new grocery store location in Providence later this year.

Trader Joe's has listed the address for the new store location at 425 South Main Street on the "coming soon" page on its website.

According to local sources, this Trader Joe's store location is still under construction but is expected to be completed sometime this year.

A statement on the company's website says,

Our Crew is working hard so we can open our doors in 2022.

However, an official grand opening date has not yet been announced by the company. We'll be following this store's progress and will report on any updates as they come out.

This will be the grocery store chain's second location in Rhode Island. The first Trader Joe's store to open in Rhode Island is located at 1000 Bald Hill Road in Warwick, which is about eleven miles from the new store that is currently under construction.

Trader Joe's is a popular grocery store chain that offers a wide variety of food items, including many organic and vegan options. The store is also known for its low prices and friendly customer service.

They also donate 100 percent of products that are not sold but are fit to be consumed to the local community through their "Neighborhood Shares" program.
