After nearly two years of serving up fresh slices of Neopolitan-style pizzas in Austin, this popular food truck is closing up shop. However, there are still a few days left to grab a slice.

Dough Boys started serving up delicious 12-inch pizza pies out of their retro-style trailer at Arbor Food Truck Park in Central Austin in the summer of 2020. A year later, they moved the food truck to their current location at 3901 Promontory Point Drive at Meanwhile Brewing.

Sadly, the popular pizza truck, which boasts a 4.8 rating on Google with more than 91 reviews, will be calling it quits on Sunday, May 29, 2022. That means you only have two days left if you want to grab a slice for the last time.

The Dough Boys menu features fresh options full of flavor, such as the "Green-Go" pizza, a delicious mix of garlic cream, smoked mozzarella, spicy pork sausage, roasted onions, and broccolini, topped with a "secret" green sauce.

If you're looking for something more traditional, you can't go wrong with the "Bob-a-Rita," a simple pizza with red sauce, herbs, fresh mozzarella, and basil.

Max Tilda, who co-owns the Dough Boys pizza truck, told local food reporters that "it's simply time for a new chapter for the team." According to reports, Tony Curet, who owns the business with Tilda, plans to continue working in the culinary scene in Austin, but no specific restaurant was mentioned.

Dough Boys will undoubtedly be missed in Austin. So be sure to grab a slice for the last time if you're in the area before their last day serving on May 29th.
