Chicago, IL - Back in December, the self-avowed far-right group known as 'Patriot Front' led a protest march through the streets of D.C. Yesterday, the group arrived on the streets of Chicago to join a separate demonstration for anti-abortion activists. Although they did not number more than a few dozen, their presence drew heckles and jeers from the March for Life rally in Chicago on Saturday, the anti-abortion activists they had shown up to support.

Patriot Front is a white supremacist organization that formed from the Iron March forum in 2017 after it was shut down. They claim to be a political organization, however, their main interest lies in promoting white identity through fascist and neo-Nazi propaganda. Their membership is primarily young, often not yet out of their teenage years, though no strict age limit has been made public by the organization's leadership (who go by pseudonyms online).

The group was initially based in Houston, Texas, but has since spread out to other cities in the United States. Some members have also traveled overseas to Europe and attempted to support local white supremacist movements.

As the two groups stood on opposite sides of the street, activists from the March for Life rally began taunting Patriot Front members. A few minutes into the march, demonstrators from the pro-life group began shouting "you're an embarrassment!" and other insults at them.

"Put the shields down! If you guys are here for peace, that's one thing..." another demonstrator yelled. "Be afraid of these people! They represent the end of what it means to be an American," yelled another.

Soon after the tense exchanges, Patriot Front members were seen leaving in private vehicles (instead of their typical mode of transportation in rented U-Haul trucks) which were waiting for them on the streets and drove off.
