The free fitness class entry and free open gym times are a great way to help you decide if you want to become a rec center member. There are rec centers at Fowler Park, Central Park, and Old Atlanta Park. They offer a variety of fitness classes such as Zumba, spin, barre, yoga, and cardio classes. Each rec center also has a walking track and cardio-weight rooms.

If you try one of the classes during the Parks & Play Day and decide you want to become a regular, you can become a rec center member. A FitClass membership gets you access to all the fitness classes, or you can go for the FitPlus membership, which also provides access to all open gym activities, the indoor walking track, and the cardio-weight rooms.

If you aren’t interested in classes, you can try a FitRec membership, which gets you the open gym activities such as basketball, badminton, and pickleball, plus access to the walking track and weight rooms. Or, if you only want to walk, the FitWalk membership allows you to use the indoor walking track so you can get in your steps whatever the weather.
