(Forsyth County, GA) In the mood for Spanish food? If so, estás de suerte - popular Atlanta restaurant group Eclipse di Luna recently opened a new location at Halcyon. Like the other locations in Buckhead and Dunwoody, the new Forsyth County restaurant features upscale tapas, paellas, and other Spanish-influenced fare.
Tapas are ideal for group outings since they’re small plates that you can combine and share for a unique dining experience. Guests can select from a variety of options such as Ensalada Mediterranea, which features cucumber, red onion, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese, or Patatas Bravas, spicy fried potatoes with a spicy Romesco dipping sauce. Pretend you’re in Barcelona and try one of the seafood options like Calimares Fritos, fried squid with pico de gallo, or Ceviche de Cobia, a citrus-cured fish dish served with aguachilli and tostones.
If you’d rather try paella, a seasoned rice dish that originated in the Valencia region of Spain, there are several varieties on the menu. These feature various add-ons like seasonal vegetables, spicy chorizo, or shellfish like shrimp and mussels. Order a single serving or a family-sized dish for the whole group.
Make sure to save room for a dessert like the tres leches cake or a traditional Spanish flan. Diners can order cocktails like mojitos, margaritas, and sangria by the glass or pitcher, and there is an extensive wine and beer list too.
As for the ambiance, crystal chandeliers, a cozy color palette, and ivy on the walls set a romantic mood. Guests can opt to dine under the branches of the massive tree behind the bar area or choose a table on the patio beneath twinkling lights.
No matter when you visit, don’t forget your dancing shoes - Eclipse di Luna features live music and dancing every evening. For those who aren’t confident in their dancing skills, salsa dancing lessons on Wednesdays help beginners to get the hang of the steps in time for the weekend. A DJ takes over on Friday nights to get the weekend started with a bang.
Eclipse di Luna is located at 6710 Town Square 120 in Alpharetta. It is open on Monday and Sunday from 4:00 pm–9:00 pm, on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:00 pm–10:00 pm, on Thursday from 4:00 pm–11:00 pm, and on Friday and Saturday from 4:00 pm–11:45 pm.
