New family-friendly chicken franchise opens in The Collection at Forsyth

(Forsyth County, GA) One of the most buzzed about chicken franchises just opened a brand new location in The Collection at Forsyth. Chick’nCone, which offers handheld fried chicken and sauces in a waffle cone, took over the old Which Wich space next to Chicken Salad Chick and Great American Cookie Company.

Based in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, Chick’nCone is a fun, family-friendly fast casual restaurant. The chicken is tossed in the sauce of your choice and served in a hand-rolled waffle cone – no utensils needed. Customers can stroll around The Collection while they enjoy a fork-free take on the classic fried chicken and waffles combination.

Owners Quirrat Hussain and Sylvester Lewis were inspired to open a Chick’nCone franchise after too many frustrating dinners out with their two children.

“We just wanted kids and families to have a cool and relaxing time,” said Hussain.

Hussain and Lewis, both professionals in other areas, wanted to open a business to spend more time together as a family. They decided to open a Chick’nCone after a franchise consultation. Hussain said as soon as she tried the Cinna-Maple sauce, she knew it was the right restaurant for them.

“It’s still my favorite,” she beams.

The Cinna-Maple sauce is Chickn’Cone’s traditional maple syrup-inspired sauce, but it offers several other options. Lewis says the Kickn’Ranch is the most popular choice, while spice lovers often opt for the South African Peri Peri sauce. There are also barbecue and wing sauces.

Chick’nCone has both indoor and outdoor dining spaces. In addition to the chicken cones, the restaurant offers chicken sandwiches and tenders. Side items include fries and corn with Cajun seasoning and mac and cheese. Since this location just opened, dessert options are limited for now, but they plan to add ice cream and shakes to the menu soon.

The Collection at Forsyth is located at 410 Peachtree Parkway near exit 13 on GA 400.
