Halloween is a very popular holiday for many individuals and families across the nation. Each year near the end of October, many families get their kids' costumes and take them to different houses and establishments across town to collect candy and other treats.
However, one town in SC takes things a little further than that. According to an article published by Only in Your State, Conway will refer to itself as "Halloween" this October! The Mayor of Conway, Barbara Blain-Bellamy, even held a news conference to proclaim that the City of Conway will refer to itself as "Halloween" this October!
Bellamy held that news conference in 2022, however, the town said that it was such a financial success last year that they plan on sticking with it! The town has plenty of Halloween events lined up for October and expects a lot of tourists to visit!
