We are just a few days away from September and there will certainly not be a shortage of things to do around the city! Rather you want to go to a music festival, run a 5k, try out some great seafood, or even buy some unique arts and crafts items - this list may have an event that you definitely do not want to miss! Here are three of them!

Myrtle Beach's "Waves of Praise" Gospel Fest will be taking place on September 2 and September 3 (Friday at 6 pm and Saturday at 2 pm), according to their website. The lineup has some of the best acts in gospel music including John P Kee, Deitrick Haddon, Luther Barnes, Damon Little, Wes Morgan, Lucinda Moore, and many more! The event will take place at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place, 812 North Ocean Boulevard, in Myrtle Beach, SC, and the event is free! For more info, go to www.mbwavesofpraise.com.

Tunnel to Towers Foundation Walk & 5k Run will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2022. According to their website, the event was "born from the tragedy of 9/11" and they carry forward a legacy of courage and heroism. The foundation also supports our nation's fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families. For more information, go to runsignup.com/tunneltowers5k.

The Beach and Chill Fest and the World Championship Chili Cook-off will take place from September 23 through September 25 (Friday through Sunday), according to their website. The event is put on by The International Chili Society, which is the largest sanctioning body of chili cook-offs in the country! It has been around for 55 years, although it will be in Myrtle Beach for its second year. It will feature champion chili tastings and will have beer gardens, food trucks, live music, a kid's zone, craft and retail vendors, and much more! There is free general admission every day!
