The Opening Reception for a brand new exhibition was held today at Englewood, Colorado's new Bleue Tile Gallery and Art space, curated by artists Lee LaBier and Courtney Cotton.

What happens when artists limit their color choices?

This is the question LaBier and Cotton proposed for this project.

The Not So Black & White exhibition examines the work of eleven artists from the wider Colorado area and their interpretations visually and conceptually of black and white.

The exhibition will run at the Englewood, Colorado Gallery until 18 June. Wednesday-Friday 4-8pm by appointment.

"An exhibition of paintings, photography and sculptures within this limited, high-contrast palette allows for an increased focus on form and spacial relationships intensifying what happens when artists cast aside the color spectrum and focus on the visual power of black, white and everything in between." --Not so Black & White, Press release
