NASHVILLE, TN - Back in March 2021, Vanderbilt Athletics launched a fundraising campaign called Vandy United. The goal of the campaign is to raise funds of around $300 million to support Vanderbilt Athletics' major facilities and operational enhancements. On Aug. 24, Vanderbilt shared new updates and ongoing projects of the new and transformed facilities.
The first phase of construction has been planned with some facilities to be focused on. One of the first to be built is the new indoor practice facility. The new building will feature a full-size football field that will match the outdoor practice field. Football operations center will be renewed to benefit anything football-related, like new meeting rooms, expanded locker room, new training room and performance center, and more.
Basketball operations center will also be among the first phase of construction. The facility will be home to Vanderbilt's men and women basketball team that includes a new practice court, weight room, offices, and more.
Vanderbilt's football stadium will also go on a few upgrades in the first phase, mainly in the north and south end zone area. South end zone facility will have premium seats, hospitality spaces, new and refreshed food and beverages, and a new student-athlete dining center. At the north side of the end zone, more premium seats will be fit here.
