The Nashville chapter of PRSA to hold the 35th Annual Parthenon Awards Dinner

NASHVILLE, TN – The Nashville chapter of PRSA will hold their 35th Annual Parthenon Awards Dinner on Monday, August 30, 2021, at City Winery 609 LaFayette Street, Nashville. The agenda will begin with Cocktail Hour at 5:30 p.m. and will continue to the dinner and Awards Presentation at 6:30 p.m.

Beginning the journey 35 years ago, the Parthenon Awards is dedicated to appreciate and reward those Public Relations professionals who demonstrate excellent projects and strategic programs in the field which bring a meaningful contribution and bring positive impacts to the stakeholders.

This award recognized notable leadership and creative innovation by the Middle Tennessee Public Relations practitioners. There are 4 types of awards, which consist of: the Hercules Award, Mercury Award, Apollo Award, and Olympus Award. Parthenon Awards is mirrored after PRSA National's Silver and Bronze Anvil Program and is eligible for all Middle Tennessee PR communities.

The judging process features a notable panel of veteran public relations professionals at the Public Relations Society of America chapter. They are authorized to screen the candidate based on their portfolio and pick the winners. The judges are eligible to limit the numbers of Parthenon or Awards of Merit for each category available.

To be successful in this award submission at the PROGRAM categories, candidates must meet the 4 criteria, which include: research, planning, execution, and evaluation.

Meanwhile, for PROJECT categories, the judges will examine the entries based on: their creativity, quality of production, the persuasiveness of content, technical excellence, and appropriateness for the declared audience. The entries must state 1 page of summary that describes the objectives, execution, audience, and results.

This 35th Annual Parthenon Awards Dinner is open for Public relations and communications professionals working in the Middle Tennessee area. You can secure your seat no later than August 16, 2021.
