As one of the country’s longest running premier fine craft shows, ACE brings together 100 exceptional artisans exhibiting one-of-a-kind pieces, luxury collections and uniquely creative, museum quality artwork. Eligible media categories include baskets, ceramics, fiber decorative, fiber wearable, furniture, glass, contemporary/semi-precious jewelry (work primarily made from metal, enamel, glass, paper, fiber/fabric/felt, polymers, clay, wood, leather, or recycled materials), fine/precious jewelry (work primarily made from platinum, gold, sterling silver or precious gems), leather, metal, mixed media, paper and wood.

ACE is a highly competitive juried show featuring hand-crafted work and is open to all craftspeople who are residents of and are working in the United States. Work must be produced by the artists or under their personal supervision. Work should be made by hand or with appropriate tools.

The 38th annual American Craft Exposition will be organized by ACE Co-Chairs Leslie Sevcik and Gayle Stellas and the ACE volunteer committee. Tickets for ACE 2022 will be available in the summer of 2022.

“We look forward to welcoming new and returning craftspeople in-person this year at the beautiful Chicago Botanic Garden,” says ACE Co-Chair Leslie Sevcik.

Each year, more than 8,500 guests attend ACE, with proceeds from the event funding programs at NorthShore University HealthSystem. This year’s event will raise money for NorthShore’s SAVE MOMS program. “Up to 75 percent of maternal deaths in Illinois are thought to be potentially preventable. SAVE MOMS, a data driven initiative at NorthShore University HealthSystem, is designed to protect and preserve maternal health before, during, and after delivery,” explains ACE Co-Chair, Gayle Stellas.
