Whether you’re Irish or Irish at heart, get ready to put on your best green and raise a glass at the Quad State Beer Fest: ShamRocked! For the 6th year, the largest beer festival in the area will be held at the Washington County Ag Ed Center in Boonsboro, Md., on Saturday, March 12, 2022. 

This huge festival celebrates the area’s rich heritage of beverage crafting with a selection of more than 120 craft beers, ciders, spirits, and wines from over 40 regional artisans from the Tri-State and beyond. General admission tickets include a 12 oz. festival beer glass, unlimited 2-3 oz. responsible samplings, and one full pour ticket.

Irish-Infused Entertainment

Live music by South of Sobriety, Gaelic Mishap, and The ShamRogues are scheduled throughout the day.

Known for involving the audience in their fun, lively mix of songs, dance, and stories of Ireland, The ShamRogues have been entertaining crowds all over the East Coast since 2009. Count on an exciting performance of high-energy vocals, guitar, and drums fused with fiddle, banjo, and rhythmic Irish dancing.

5:00-7:00 p.m.— Gaelic Mishap

Formed in 2010, the Gaelic Mishap Celtic Rock Band in Baltimore includes musicians who span a generation, each bringing a unique musical influence to popular traditional and contemporary Irish music. The band takes pride in their ability to entertain a diverse fan base from family-friendly festivals to the pubs of Baltimore where Irish music thrives! Gaelic Mishap has performed at the Southern Maryland Celtic Festival, the Philadelphia Fleadh Festival, and the nationally renowned Shamrockfest in Washington, D.C.

In addition to the day’s lineup of music, attendees can participate in wild games like a keg toss, mechanical bull ride, ax throwing, and Giant Jenga; sing along to karaoke, or enter the beard contest. Shopping with dozens of vendors and local food options will be available onsite.


Upgrade to a VIP admission ticket to get in one hour early, snag preferred parking and seating, and taste rare exclusive beers. All attendees must be 21 to consume alcohol and 16 to enter.

Designated Driver: Entry Time 1:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Includes admission into the event and two non-alcoholic beverages. Designated driver must be at least 16 years of age.

Personal Pop-Up Tent Add-On Ticket: Allows attendee to bring own personal pop-up tent for up to ten people at the same time as ticket time. Available online only and requires a separate festival entry ticket.
