The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra is hosting a benefit concert on Thursday, April 21, where all proceeds will be donated to support Ukraine.
In partnership with the Creative Alliance, the concert will be held at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall at 7 p.m. Tickets will be "pay-as-you-wish" starting at a minimum of $10. The ticket and procession proceeds will be donated to the International Rescue Committee which has a team in Poland providing emergency aid to Ukrainian refugees.
Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is named after Joseph Meyerhoff who, emigrated from Ukraine to Baltimore 75 years ago. Among the musical selections for the concert will be the Ukrainian National Anthem.
