Governor Larry Hogan signed emergency legislation today that suspends gas tax in the state for 30 days. Maryland is the first state to lift the gas tax.
The current taxi is 36.1 cents per gallon for regular gas and 36.85 cents per gallon for diesel, according to a news release.
The suspension will last until 11:59 p.m. on April 16.
