The Black Arts District (BAD) has multiple job opportunities available that they are accepting applications for. BAD is a “well-recognized, labeled, mixed-use area of the city in which a high concentration of arts and cultural facilities serve as the anchor attraction.” This is Maryland’s only art and entertainment district dedicated to the cultural production of African American’s.

Administrative Assistant

BAD is looking for a fulltime Administrative Assistant. This is not a remote position and will required working primarily in the office. To find out more information and for a full position description email candance@blackartsdistrict.org

Communications Intern and Program Intern

Donors Relation Manager

They are seeking a donors relation manager who would be responsible for developing and implementing engagement and fundraising strategies to enhance and grow revenue and current prospective donors. Those interested in applying should be comfortable administering donation drives and coordinating community donation drives.

Grants Manager

BAD is seeking a fulltime grant manager that will oversee nearly the entire grantmaking process. This role involves planning and executing the grantmaking process by working with the program's teams to work within the annual budget, support funding opportunities, manage documents and deadlines, and track grant results.
