Tailgate and cheer on the Ravens

Baltimore Recreation and Parks has partnered with Next Phase Cafe to host tailgates this football season at the Canton Waterfront. Today the tailgate will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to cheer on the Ravens versus the Minnesota Vikings.

The first traveling music stage is in Baltimore

"Yellow Barn Music Haul" is the first traveling stage of its kind and they will be performing in Baltimore. Redefining what a concert hall can be, Music Haul brings music to grammar schools and conservatories, urban neighborhoods and arts districts, city lots and open fields. The event will be held at 421 N. Howard Street, and doors will open at 5 p.m. with the live performance starting at 6 p.m.

Scott and Health Commissioner Dr. Letitia Dzirasa, in partnership with Baltimore City Schools CEO Dr. Sonja Santelises, announced the City’s strategy to roll out pediatric vaccines to children, ages 5-11. The main difference between the pediatric and adult vaccines is the pediatric Pfizer vaccine is one-third the dose of the adult Pfizer vaccine. The week of November 8, the Baltimore City Health Department will begin to offer pediatric vaccinations at select sites throughout the city. You call the COVID Call Center to find a clinic and get your family vaccinated at (443) 984-8650, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
