Texas Parents Charged in the Murder of Their Adopted Son Whose Body Was Stuffed Inside a Washing Machine

Something evil this way comes.

Do you see the hope and dreams plastered across that young face? Soon to be ground into the dust by those supposed to love him first.

Then take a look at the face of his alleged killers, his mother, and father who were supposed to keep him safe.

Two apparent soul-less creatures…

A 45-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman are charged with the gruesome death of a child. The victim, a 7-year-old boy, was initially reported missing and later found dead, stuffed in a washing machine in the home where he was tortured and murdered.

The adoptive parents are alleged to have sent graphic text messages to each other threatening to take the child’s life.

Jermaine Thomas has been charged with capital murder, and Tiffany Thomas has been charged with injuring a child by omission.

The two had not seen the child since the previous night. Deputies responded and searched the residence for quite some time. They employed the use of a drone and law enforcement canines.

After conducting a second search, a deputy looked through the lid of a top-loading washing machine in the utility room and discovered the young boy’s body at the bottom of the tub.
Court documents say that while the deputy yelled for help and tried to see if Koehler was breathing, Jermaine Thomas rushed over and pulled the boy out of the washing machine. Deputies instructed Thomas to place Koehler on the floor where they attempted to perform CPR while detaining both parents and removing them from the scene.
One deputy observed that Koehler’s clothes were damp and smelled of urine. Additionally, the boy’s pants were pulled down to his knees and visible bruising to his upper legs could be seen.

Child Services Drops the Ball Again

What authorities learned was that Child Protective Services had been alerted several times and not surprisingly had dropped the ball, AGAIN!

This child, reported by the school, had shown up multiple times due to injuries witnessed about his face and body including but not limited to black eyes and facial bruising.

Authorities also found text messages between the parents showing animosity toward the young boy, including a message threatening to “put him in the stove and turn it on” if he did not confess to eating cookies without permission.

Imagine the terrible abuse this kid suffered at the hands of these ‘humans’. Punishment for eating cookies, the one thing most kids have in common.

“I need to get the (locks),” Jermaine Thomas allegedly texted Tiffany Thomas. “I’m going to end up kill him. You going to come home and he going to be hang from the f — — tree outside.”

Well, finally one or both of them did end up killing that baby, allegedly. He was found dead in their garage in a washing machine.

May their punishment be swift and harsh.

“F — — that I’m for not doing s — — for his birthday,” Tiffany Thomas allegedly said in another text. “I’m so sick of this boy. Like I’m really tired of him and don’t want him in this house no more.”
Three days before Koehler was reported missing, Tiffany Thomas reportedly said in a text, “This boy got life f — -ed up. Why I come out the restroom from taking my shower and his funky a — is in the living room watching TV.”

Where did they want him to relax, apparently in the oven as they suggested or the washing machine, where he ultimately ended up?

Sounds like they really despised the very existence of this child.

How were they approved for adopting a child, I thought they did intensive psychological testing, if so, someone dropped this ball big time by letting these two be responsible for a child any child.

Another news outlet says:

An autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Science ruled Troy's death a homicide and said he "suffered new and previous injuries," Gonzalez tweeted.
NBC affiliate KPRC of Houston reported that court documents state Troy experienced asphyxiation, blunt-force trauma and possible drowning and that authorities said he had face injuries and multiple bruises.
Authorities also found blood on the washing machine and elsewhere in the home, KPRC reported.

Sounds like this poor child was adopted into a house of torture and though he presented with evidence of his injuries, no one heard his cries or came forth to help.

According to court records, Jermaine Thomas’s bond was set at $2 million, and Tiffany Thomas’s bond was set at $150,000.

So much avoidable suffering in this world.
