(Forsyth County, GA) A 17-year-old is being charged with Aggravated Assault after stabbing another person at the Fowler Park skate park in Forsyth County on Wednesday, May 24. According to a Facebook post from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO), a verbal argument between a group of teenagers and young adults turned into a physical fight during which the 17-year-old suspect stabbed another person. An older adult then produced a gun and told the 17-year-old to drop the knife.

Around 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, Forsyth County deputies responded to calls about a shooting in progress at 2535 Ivy Street. Deputies arrived within four minutes of receiving the 911 calls and found that two men had been shot, one deceased and one in critical condition.

Every year more than 150,000 tests are conducted by the Environmental Protection Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Forsyth County and the City of Cumming to monitor tap water for harmful minerals, organisms and organic substances. This also includes testing for over 100 types of contaminants like pesticides, nitrates, bacteria and metals.

According to a Facebook post from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy traveling eastbound on Canton Highway was passed by a white BMW going in the opposite direction at 87 mph in a 45 mph zone.

(Forsyth County, GA) The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) has arrested a man for shooting at another driver during a road rage incident. On Monday, May 15 around 8:15 a.m., the victim of the incident called the Forsyth County 911 Center saying he was driving southbound on GA 400 when he was shot in the arm by a man driving a white Toyota passenger car. The victim had pulled over after trying to follow the Toyota but lost it on Pendley Road when he called 911.
