(Forsyth County, GA) The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of burglaries targeting the Southeast Asian community.
An August 16 post from the FCSO Facebook page states the department has increased police presence in the southern part of the county after investigating several burglaries in the area. The burglaries often target Southeast Asian households.
The post stated that “If you see any suspicious persons in the neighborhood, walking near or in wooded areas near homes or you happen to see this on your home security cameras, please call 911 immediately and report it, as this may be valuable to the investigation.”
Residents are also reminded to lock vehicle doors even if they are parked in a driveway, keep items out of view, homes locked and valuable items secured.
