(Forsyth County, GA) Hazardous weather is possible in Forsyth County and the rest of north Georgia on Thursday, August 10.
The National Weather Service reported a marginal risk of thunderstorms with downburst winds that could potentially cause damage through this evening.
The strongest storms could produce wind gusts of 40 mph to 60 mph. The mountain area further north could also get 1 to 3 inches of rain, creating a slight possibility of flooding.
Friday, August 11 through Wednesday, August 16 also pose a marginal risk (2 out of 5) for thunderstorms with damaging downburst winds.
