(Forsyth County, GA) Forsyth County art lovers can head to the Cumming City Center this September for the second annual Cumming Art Fest.
From Saturday, September 16 to Sunday, September 17, the Cumming City Center’s main street will be lined with over 100 booths filled with handmade crafts and art including paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, food and more. Entertainers will be performing and children can play at the Kidz Zone.
The festival is hosted in partnership with Splash Festivals, Inc, which also puts on art festivals in surrounding areas like the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival, Johns Creek Art Festival, Norcross Art Splash Festival, Acworth Art Fest, Dunwoody Art Fest and Alpharetta Arts Streetfest.
“We are excited that this year the City Center will have stores and restaurants open, which is the perfect backdrop for a great art festival,” said Cindy Flynn of Splash Festivals. “Last September for our first Art Fest here, the venue was not quite ready yet, but the crowds still came to support the artists and craftspeople.”
Those interested in being a sponsor, food vendor, art vendor or street performer can find more information on the Splash Festivals website.
The Cumming Art Fest will be held on September 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cumming City Center at 423 Canton Road. Parking is free.
