(Forsyth County, GA) Kelly Mill Elementary School has found a new principal after former Principal Ron McAllister resigned in May due to ongoing health issues.
Forsyth County Schools announced today, June 10, that Tracey Smith has been named as the new principal of Kelly Mill Elementary.
Smith has worked for the Forsyth County School District since 2000. She started as an elementary teacher at Cumming Elementary School before becoming an assistant principal at Chattahoochee Elementary School and then an assistant principal and principal at Mashburn Elementary School.
She has been the principal of Brookwood Elementary School since 2017.
McAllister was named the inaugural principal of Kelly Mill Elementary School in 2011. The school officially opened in 2012.
Smith will begin her role as principal for the upcoming 2022/2023 school year.
