Spokane is an attractive city in northeastern Washington state. It is home to the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, which explores the area's history through displays on local culture, art and Native American heritage. Next door, Tudor-styled Campbell House immerses visitors in rich Northwest arts and crafts. Vast Riverfront Park, where a cable car runs over the spectacular Spokane Falls, offers breath-taking views of the city.
What can you do in Spokane to really get the most out of your visit? The best places to go are the Spokane International Airport and the Spokane Convention Center. The International Airport provides excellent public transportation links. The Spokane Convention Center has several venues for exhibits, conferences and other special events. It has also become a favorite among local businesses because of its wide array of facilities and convenient location.
What else can you do in Spokane? Spokane has many fun outdoor activities too. Spokane has developed into one of the best places in the country to go hiking, biking and fishing. Spokane's River Walk is an example of such development. There are many other places to enjoy such outdoor activities as mountain climbing, kayaking, rock climbing, sailing and more.
If you like to shop, Spokane has several specialty stores. Some of these include Books Inc., Big Feet Clothing, Charming Boutique, Cuddlebug Cafe, Crepe Place, El Gato Loco, Harry's Sporting Goods, Koala Coffee House, Liquor store The Rocket Bar and more. One of the most unique shops is Memories Shop that sells postcards, photo albums, scrapbooks, prints and more. This shop is located inside the Spokane City Hall and is open Monday through Saturday.
What about the night life? Spokane has many interesting adult-oriented attractions. It includes K Mart, The Capitola Inn, The Lanes, The Engine House and The Last Resort. These are just a few of many adult-oriented attractions.
Spokane has a very exciting music scene. The three major music venues in Spokane are The Arena, The Great Spokane Music Hall and The Oak City Ballroom. At the Arena you can see some of your favorite bands. You can also enjoy the famous Spokane Symphony during the summer. During the summer the concert series at The Arena includes the likes of chamber music, classical music, jazz and gospel music. The Great Spokane Music Hall features music by: Andrew Lewis, Carol Craig, Jimmie Vaughan, Kris Allen, Rich Brooks, The Bluegrass Festival and The Ohio Valley Music Festival.
Spokane is a wonderful place to see and there is so much to do in the city. If you love history, you should take the time to see the old historical sites. Or if you enjoy the great food that Spokane has to offer then you will want to try out some of the local restaurants and pubs. Or if you just enjoy taking pictures and enjoy the scenery around you then there are plenty of places to do that as well.

Spokane plays host to many musicians every year.
