Located 16 miles north of Detroit, in Macomb County, Warren is Michigan’s third largest city. This city of business is the place where you can find General Motors Technical Center, US Army Detroit Central, Tardec and many more. Warren History

Before it was called Warren, the city was known as Beebe’s Corner and it was founded in 1830 at the corner of Mount Road and Chicago Road. Later it was renamed in Hackery, then Aba, and finally Warren. It was named after a ‘War of 1812’ veteran, Rev. Abel Warren. As it continued to grow, Governor Williams declared it a city in 1956. The city grew slowly as a result of a couple of industries such as Chrysler’s Truck Assembly Plant and General Motors Technical Center.
