Nashville is a very special place on this planet. There are so many great things that you can do and experience there.

Music City

Music is truly a major part of Nashville, so naturally, this is a place you should make sure to visit. Even if you're not a musician, you should at least make sure to check out some local bands. You could even hit up some local wineries if you want to take your evening to a more relaxing nature. Either way, there are plenty of options for you.

Whiskey/Wine: Nashville also hosts the World Famous American Whiskey & American Wine Festival every year in October. This is the perfect time of year for it. You'll get to explore more than 1,300 different whiskeys and over 30 different wines. You can take a guided tour or just wander around by yourself to see all of the vendors that have set up shop.

The East Side

If you're headed down to Nashville, make sure you stop at the Wolf River Distillery for a bourbon tasting. This Kentucky-based distillery makes their Bourbon using corn, wheat and rye. If you like whiskey, you have to visit this place. They are open Tuesday through Sunday. If you are a visitor, get a 20% discount at the gift shop by showing your e-ticket. No matter what time of day it is, you can always have a great time on the East side of Nashville.

The West Side

Now, let's talk about the West Side! There are so many great things to do that you may find yourself thinking, "It's only a small section of the West Side of Nashville." And it is! The West Side has it all. Take a stroll down Hillsboro and Waverly Avenues. This is the best stretch of Nashville to visit because of the unique mix of charm, vintage, and urban vibes. In this section of town, you will find a wide variety of cafes, great restaurants, and boutiques. Even if you're on a budget, there's a lot to do here. There are so many fun activities to do that it would take up every free moment in your day! First things first, you should visit the Pritchard Park. It's home to the Covered Wagon Coffee House & Southern-Style Cafe.

The North Shore

The North Shore offers some of the best outdoor activities you can experience in Nashville. It is a great place to experience water sports. Helen Caldicott Park You cannot say enough good things about Helen Caldicott Park. It is a very special place to get in touch with nature. There is something very peaceful and soothing about the place. It is one of the most popular places to visit in the Northshore.

Get A Donut With A View: You cannot visit Nashville without trying some donuts. With all of the great things you can do on the Northshore, it should not surprise you that the donut shops have such great views. This is a must do while you are in Nashville.

The South Shore

There are so many things to do and see here in Nashville. There are some things that people don't know about or have heard about that they should experience. Not only do you get to experience the beauties of Nashville, but you get to experience all of the entertainment. You can find something for everyone. Kenny Chesney! One of my favorite things to do is go to the Kenny Chesney concert. I have been to many concerts in my life, but Chesney has got to be my number one favorite. He is amazing and such a great showman. He keeps you on the edge of your seat. Chesney even has his own music festival, called the Bonnaroo Music Festival, that is just a couple hours away from Nashville. He puts on a show like no other. It is a great time with some good friends and good music.

The The Hills

If you’re looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of Nashville, there is a way to do that on your day off. The pool and golfing club in The Hills offers just that and also the ability to get away from the city by simply walking. Just beyond that is a beautiful network of parks, beautiful rivers, and a great trail system. You don’t have to be a golf fan to appreciate the beautiful golf course that’s available at The Hills.

Nashville Museums

Nashville Museums are essential to an enjoyable and educational experience of this great city. It gives you the ability to learn about the city's rich history. With a wide range of exhibits, you will never get bored when visiting one. I like to call the city a living museum. It has so much that has happened there over the years. Here are a few museums you should visit while visiting Nashville.

Sports in Nashville

Nashville, with its good climate and the proximity to some of the best tennis events in the U.S. is just the place for sports enthusiasts to go and enjoy a great time. It has five college teams and two NHL teams. If you’re a sports fan and don’t have a passion for baseball, golf, football, or basketball then there’s really no better place in the nation for you.
