Town of Orange Park seeks HR Manager

The Town of Orange Park is searching for a Human Resources Manager.

This is the Town’s first Human Resources Manager position. Until now, the duties were shared and performed by other employees of the Town.

In the most recent budget process, the Town Manager set aside a portion of the budget for the new position.

According to the posting on Facebook:

This full-time position will lead the Town in updating and standardizing our best practices into practical policies to strengthen our position as a top employer and sought-after organization in local government. This position reports to the town manager and interacts with department heads and town staff. The Town is a full-service municipality with 115 employees spread through six departments, including three unions. Our employees are our number one asset. The ideal candidate will understand the goal of celebrating employees while balancing necessary rules.

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with at least two years of related experience. The starting salary range is $45,000-$57,000 plus benefits.
