Now, we have all dreamt of that moment we finally make it and live in that mansion of our dreams! Well, I'm here to transport you into some of the most luxurious and jaw-dropping mansions that Texas has to boast. Allow me to be your real estate tour guide for the next five minutes as we venture into the houses of the mega-rich.
Some of these mansions are designed for pure fun and enjoyment, some have taken half a century to finish, and my favorite has a special touch that leaves a twinkle in your eye. The ultra-rich of Texas always have surprises for us.
Texas entered 2021 as the ninth-largest economy in the world, according to the Texas Economic Development Corporation! So you can bet it has some houses that will seem like a fantasy. Let's get started.

When I first saw this, I thought it was just a regular waterpark. Then I saw the mansion attached to it and had to find out more.
It's a 15713 sq ft mansion situated in Dallas, Texas. In February 2017 it was listed on the market for $32,000,000, listing presented by Yanit Landman with Y+A Real Estate & Asset Mngmt.
I don't know about you, but if I had to dream up a mansion as a kid, this would most definitely have been what I came up with. Perhaps the owner has retained that child-like spirit. Sliding down a mega slide on a hot Texas day, yes, please!

$220 million. Yes, you heard that right. Mesa Vista Ranch is one of the United States largest and most expensive properties. It is 65,000 acres and sits 85 miles from Amarillo.
The former owner, T. Boone Pickens, has been involved in building this piece of land for the last 50 years. He turned it into one of the most supreme houses I've ever seen.
Just a few of the things this mansion include are a two-floor pub, a gun room, a large dog kennel (of which you inherit the dogs upon purchase, the picture is shown below), an airport with a runway, and also a chapel on top of all of this.

I bet you didn't know that Texas had a beautiful mansion that resembles that of one in Versailles, France. Yes, that's right, who needs to leave Texas when the French mansions come to you.
Chateau Carnavon is a seven-minute drive from downtown Houston. This grandiose estate is like no other with enchanting French architecture. It's a 27,000-square-foot mansion and is currently the highest price in Houston for a residential listing, at $30 million.
One of the most stunning features is the house's library, with wood taken exclusively from Warwick Hotel built by William Randolph Hearst in New York. As the European gem that this mansion is, you can expect nothing but the finest art and other European goodies scattered all over this beauty.
Can you imagine sipping a cocktail by the pool, as you admire your French mansion, maybe even chuck on a few classical French songs? Let us dream...
One of its most unique features is the 33-foot-tall domed ceiling that provides sweeping vistas through marble colonnades, and floors inlaid with precious stones. The library’s wood paneling was taken from the old Warwick Hotel built by William Randolph Hearst in New York City. Imported European elements and hand-painted artwork is located throughout.
Which of these mansions would you most like to live in?
