AMERICAN SHAD in AMERICAN RIVER - On FIRE... NOT!
Every year the American Shad return from the ocean to our local rivers here in Northern California to spawn. They go through the Sacramento River first; then they enter other rivers such as the American River. I have been successful catching shad in the Sacramento River from a boat. Now, it's time to investigate the shad run from shore in the American River. They have definitely arrived in numbers at some spots. Can you catch 'em all? Thank you for following along this journey with my friends and I. Please smash that follow and like buttons. Leave me a comment if you'd like. Thank you.
From monster size fish to the tiniest, we'll catch 'em all. Exercise, cooking, hiking and outdoors activities, we got a bit of everything. JU Nation consists mainly of my lovely wife, MM, our six children, one adopted adult child aka FarmFresh or the Other Daughter, and their expanding families. The majority of our videos will be with me, JU, as I fish with family, friends, and local anglers targeting salmon, sturgeon, trout, American Shad, or anything that swims. I fish from shore as well as on a boat. I will share with you what works for me when pursuing the different fish species. Occasionally, we (I, my wife, and our adult children) will upload fish cooking, traveling, hiking, and outdoors videos. Please follow me on News Break by pushing that "follow" button.
