Hiking Emory Peak and Seeing a Bear in Big Bend National Park!

In this video we hike Emory Peak, which is the tallest peak in the park and is about 2550 ft of elevation gain. It's 10.5 miles round trip and took us about 6 hours with a 45 minute stop at the top for lunch and some views! This hike was relatively easy compared to some we've done in the past. If you're in good shape this a must do in Big Bend! It's beautiful! On our way back down we had a bear stop us on the trail, which was crazy! This was the first bear we'd seen in a national park and it was in Texas? Crazy! Hope you enjoy and drop us a comment below what you think!
