Is the Guadalupe Peak Trail hard??? | Hiking to the tallest peak in Texas

This was one of the most challenging things Jen and I have done together. Guadalupe Peak sits at 8731 feet above sea level and the hike has a strenuous rating. You have to hike 3000 feet and it took us around 6 hours to complete. Plus high wind gusts of up to 65 mph. This is definitely a hike you want to do in the spring/fall. DO NOT try this in the summer unless you bring gallons of water and are an experienced hiker due to the Texas heat. Jen and I are in pretty decent shape and we were having an extremely difficult time. (We had 3 hours of sleep but that’s besides the point). Howdy! We're Jenna and Andrew. We've traveled to 9 countries, 34 cities, and 4 US states together before we decided to start documenting our journey through vlogs. Join us on our journey :)
