White Sands National Park, NM | Come sand sledding with us! 🛷💨
We had so much fun at this stop. These dunes are located in White Sands National Park outside of Las Cruces, New Mexico. We only spent around 2 hours here, but at the end of it we were exhausted! We visited in March, where it was a perfect temperature between 65-75 degrees F, but it still felt hot after a few hours of running about. We recommend going in a time other than the summer, as the park can get pretty hot. Fun fact: no matter the temperature, the sand dunes will always stay cool because gypsum does not absorb heat from the sun. Thank y'all so much for watching this video!
Howdy! We're currently traveling in a rooftop tent around the US. Find more content at www.youtube.com/c/JourneywithJenDrew
