The Convenience of Ordering Food to Your Doorstep is Crazy if You Think About It

It’s 2021 and we can order food from an app. We don’t have to lift an arm or leg for a complete meal to show up at our doorstep.

Although there’s a service fee, and a delivery fee for using apps like UberEats, Doordash, and Grubhub, it’s worth it.

The great thing about delivery-app services is that it buys you something that not everyone has, and that’s your time.

Not every person is going to have time to leave work, leave the kids, or put a project on pause to go out and pick up food. That’s where these apps come in perfectly.

My girlfriend and I are pretty good with our money and only limit online orders to once or twice a week, otherwise, the plan is to eat food at home and we save money that way.

The benefit of ordering food online is that you get it just the way you like it, without all the hassle of driving through traffic and waiting in a long line.

It’s crazy to me how we’ve come this far as a society to have our exact orders delivered to our doorstep without much legwork besides entering in the foods we want.

Some of the most reliable restaurants I order food from include:

Panda Express, Chipotle, Denny’s, Taco places, Dairy Queen, and other local restaurants.

I’ve been a driver for these food delivery apps and it’s a whole lot better to be the one receiving the food than delivering it.
